Chapter 2

The Fate Battle:

The King of Fighters is now open for battle,welcoming the old and new combatants from all over the world.There,a man with red bandanna on his head and wears a white sparring uniforms.He is Ryu,student of the late Master Gouken and a practitioner of the Ansatsuken Style,as well as the father of one of Ayane's friend,Ayako.The other one was a sumo from Japan named Edmond Honda@E.Honda and they were find other fighters to join them when defeated.Ryu is greeted with Honda.
Ryu: I'm glad we had a chance to meet again Honda. Thanks for telling me about this! I could have completely missed this competition.
E.Honda:A Tournament to find the strongest fighters in Japan! In order to create a team for the up coming King of Fighters Tournament.

While Ryu and Honda were entered,they witness a young man with flames attack the Judo fighter.He is Kyo Kusanagi and his friend,Goro Daimon,are battling and he comes to victory!!
Then,Ryu went up against Kyo's friend,Benimaru Nikaido.

Ryu:Seems like I'm next!!

As Ryu prosceed to battle,Goro,Kyo and Benimaru chattering.He seems to congratulate Kyo that surpasses his father,Saisyu Kusanagi.Well,Kyo wasn't alone,his girlfriend Yuki is with them,congratulate her boyfriend.

Yuki:Wow! Kyo,you're getting stronger as I thought!!I'm happy for you,good job!
Goro:Saisyu has done a fine job with your training.
Kyo:Yeah,and you didn't make it an easy fight
Benimaru:It's my turn now!Prepare for our fight once I'm done with this guy
Kyo:Let me see if you can make it,Benimaru
Yuki:Gambattene,Benimaru-kun!!

Omochao:Greetings,all audience.This is Omachao,host of the King of Fighters Tournament will bring you a lot of excitements.Get Ready for the Semifinals match #1:RYU VS BENIMARU NIKAIDO!!This battle is about to explode!!FIGHT!!

As the battle begins,Benimaru and Ryu fights with fair and square.Although,Benimaru has "electrouded" skilled on Ryu which he attacks in arm-and-arm combat.However,Ryu was too wise to be defeated and he defeats Benimaru at the very end with his "Shin-Shouryuken".Benimaru was fell in humiliating defeat.

Omochao:Wow!!That was great,"The Shooting Star" Benimaru was defeated by Ryu,the champion of Street fighter that once defeat Sagat years ago.Now,the Semifinal Match #2:Kyo Kusanagi,he's the Champion of KOF from 94 to 2005,and he is the son of the famous Saisyu Kusanagi.Let's interviewed the KOF Champion right away!!
Kyo:(confused)Huh?
Yuki:Just ask that cute thing.Break a leg!!

Omochao fled the scene and went to interview with Kyo Kusanagi.There,He found Kyo just entered and Omochao interviews him.

Omochao:So,Kyo-kun.How does you feel to enter this tournament?
Kyo:Kinda exicting! and I love it!!
Omochao:I heard that Iori Yagami was your mutual enemy.Is it true and does it related to your family.
Kyo:Sort off,and I don't wanna talk about it and I'm not interest of this "historical" matter.I don't recall why he hates me but doesn't matter!!
Omochao:Okay!Now we started the battle right here and right now!!
Semifinal Match #2:KYO KUSANAGI vs E.HONDA!!

Kyo and Honda battle begins.E.Honda tries his best to battle with a young man but Kyo defeat him with an ease.Then,Kyo must face an unfamiliar opponent,seemingly adrmired Kyo's fire ability.

Ryu:Martial arts mixed with a stranger fiery technique.Impressive!
Kyo:(surprises)I see you are no slacker,just who are you?
Ryu:Ansatsuken Style Practitioner,Ryu,and you are?
Kyo:Kyo Kusanagi,now get ready to burn!!
Omochao:You hear that?The Street Fighter Champion is facing the KOF Champion and this could be a fated match between both champions.Get ready and..Hey!There some interference in this battle!!Wait?Is that Iori Yagami?What is he doing here?

What Omochao surprises that man with red hair with a crescent moon on his back shoves Ryu out off the way so he can't let anyone have him.

Iori:Get out of my way,Vermin!!Nobody touches Kyo,He's mine!!
Ryu:Who the....
Yuki:Just what do you think you're doing,Iori-san.Go away!!Kyo has no time "playing" with you!!
Ryu:Miss! Get outta here!!It's dangerous!!

Iori was irritate at her intereference and tries to move her out of the way but Yuki rebukes him to leave Kyo alone.

Iori:Move,girl!! This is my fight and don't let me get through to you,it matters with us now!!
Yuki:I don't know any of your matters with Kyo.Now,leave Kyo alone and your blood feud is nothing to Kyo.
Iori:Why?
Yuki:I want you to stop fighting with Kyo,It's meaningless
Iori:(refuses to listen to her)Hmph! There you go again with that word!! Now,Outta my way,NOW!!
Yuki:NO!!
Iori:*growl*(Why that bitch!!)Kyo...
Kyo:(Yagami...)Yuki,get outta here,you'll get killed!!
Yuki:No!I'm not leaving you!!

Yuki defending her boyfriend and tried to keep him away from Iori as he tries to kill Kyo but suddenly,a voice came out..

?????:Hey,Emo kid!You heard a lady?She said "no",how about you back off and let your buddy Kyo have fun?

He is Ken Masters,The US Martial Artist and a childhood friend of Ryu,he wore a same training uniform,only in red.

Ryu:(surprise)Ken!!
Ken:Hey,Ryu! What's up!!

Iori seems to annoyed when Ken calls him "Kyo's friend".Ken comes here to fight Iori to avoid interference and Yuki was relief that someone will strain Iori out of the picture.

Iori:Me?Kyo's friend?Hmph!You will die for that comment!
Ken:Yeah,whatever.Do your thing Ryu,this guy won't get in the way.And Missy,don't you worry about this situation.I'll take care of that and watch your boyfriend fight.
Yuki:Thank you!!
Ryu:Ken...Thanks

Unpredictable fate:
As Ken distracting Iori,Kyo fights with Ryu with an ease.Even so,a two shadowed figure behind the scene.One is wearing green hooded,long sleeve shirt with eagle with "Falcon" word and another with red shinobi outfit with flower patterns.While Kyo and Ryu's battle ends with Ryu's victorious,Iori is angry at Ken's interruption.


Iori:I'll burn you alive for interfering,you fool...urgh...ugh..UGH!

Suddenly,as Iori battling Ken,he started to having a coughing blood as he bends over.

Ken:Heh,already coughing blood?
????:Get away from him,it's the "Riot of Blood"

Iori has turned into a monster like after the Orochi blood consumes him and attacks Ken,which surprises him.
Omochao:Oh!! He's gone berserk!!Mister Ken,run away!!It's dangerous
Iori:GWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!
Ken:(surprises at Iori's weird behaviour)What the hell....?


Ken tries to stop this animal-like person to calm down but he was defeated and injured as well.As Iori approached an unconscious state of Ken,a familliar voice stops him...

????:Dad...please stop..don't hurt him!!
Iori:....huh..huh...A..ya..ne?

It was Ayane Yagami,one of the Freedom Fighters.She comes to help her father to calm down as she tries to have reason to him as she knows he wont hurt her.Omochao was surprises that Ayane was Iori's daughter.

Omochao:Get outta here,Lady Ayane.He'll kill you
Ayane:He wont!I know he will listen to me...

As Ayane tries to approach him,he backs away shyly and calls out her name but he couldn't remember anything.

Iori:(crying)...urr...a...Aya..ne..
Ayane:Yes,It's me,Ayane!I'm your daughter,the ninja girl,remember?
Iori:urr....get..out...of..here....
Ayane:I wont run.I know you wont hurt me..please...don't let this curse overthrow you...
Iori:?!
Ayane:You fought to keep me safe..you'll always there for me!..Dad,please...come back to your original form...forget about these senseless battle with Kyo...come with me...let's go home,Okay?

Suddenly,a beam of light approach behind Iori and Ayane steps in and taken a hit instead!!

Ayane:Look out!(Pushes Iori away and taken a hit instead)KYAAAH!
Yuki:(ran to her side along with Goro and Benimaru)Ayane-chan,stay with me!!
Iori:(turn around and fiercely growl at the attacker)...grrrrr....

It was Ryu in evil form of Satsui no Hadou(The killing intent) but Ryu and Kyo,noticed the beam where Ayane was taken a hit.Iori was angrilly fights that man in avenge of Ayane's crippled state but he was defeated by Evil Ryu,which confuses the two men.

Kyo:Is that guy your twin brother or something?
Ryu:No, that's actually me...although I don't understand how this can be happening.
????:It's an illusion created by her.
Kyo:Tazuki?(turn around as the shadow man vanished)He dissapeared!!
Yuki:Can You take Ayane-chan somewhere else?
Tazuki:I'll take care of her and send her to hospital!
Yuki:Thank you!!

This actually made by a Yata woman who she realise that she'll never let things worst as Kyo and Iori are the key to seal Orochi.However,she felt guilty of Ayane's injuries in accident.Her nephew was upset.

Tazuki:Aunt Chizuru,who is that?
Chizuru:That man's repressed dark power turned out useful for my illusions.
Tazuki:Why?Is that why you use it to stop them? DON'T YOU SEE? Ayane was hurt!Why do you do this?
Chizuru:Those two are the key to seal Orochi;you and other Freedom Fighters should never involves this matter.I just couldn't allow the situation to get worse
Tazuki:(enrage)Your illusion of Ryu's killing intent almost kill Princess Ayane.This has nothing to do with you!!I'm leaving!
Chizuru:Where are you going?

As Tazuki Kagura left,Chizuru just watch her enrage nephew left along with his fiancée,Ayame Tsukiyama.They went to report to Tsubaki about the KOF Tournament went riot.In the tournament,Ryu ran to Ken and thankfully Ken is alright.

Ryu: Good to see again,my friend.
Ken:Yeah,but this time I came here to ask you a favor.

3 days before U.S. Martial Arts Tournament.Ken met a young man with blond hair,just like him who has the American traits,Terry Bogard.While facing Terry,both him and Ken feel uneasy but they lightens up each other.

Ken:You are my final opponent? Man,this tournaments are getting boring!
Terry:Well,defeating cocky tournament Champions is getting boring for me too.
Ken:Heh, you have some style.It seems we shared a couple of traits.
Terry:I was thinking just the same.
Ken:(prepare for battle) Ready?
Terry:Let's Party!!

After a friendly match,Terry says that he'll be participating in the upcoming KOF tournament and tells Ken that he can get a rematch there and need a team for that.Ryu then picking up is that why Ken come here in the first place.

Ryu:I see,Ken.You can count one me
Kyo:Hey Ryu! Too bad we couuln't finish the fight.I guess it will have to wait until the tournament.Benimaru,Daimon and I have decided to form our own team.
Ryu:I'm looking forward for our next battle.Honda,would you join our team?
Honda:Yeah!With you and I,proud Japanese warriors,We can't lose!
Ryu:Until we meet again then,Kyo
Kyo:Yeah,until your loss.

Rivals reunites and about the truth of Shadaloo attacks.

The next day, Team Sonic are on their way to KOF Tournament when they hear about the news on the radio. Tails gives Sonic a meteor which he thinks might be from last night. Sonic puts it around his wrist. Soon, they are attacked by the Dolls, who seem to have recognized Sonic as the Freedom Fighters and needs to be exterminate, and barely escape with their lives. While Tails and Knuckles use their respective flying and gliding abilities to save themselves, Sonic almost falls to his death, but fortunately, the Ark of the Cosmos' was able to save him. All three then manage to escape from the city.It is there they met Satoshi,Ayane(fully recovered) and Tazuki at the forest.While hiding,they sensed the Dolls were searching the escapee who have left the scene

Sonic:They don't even give a guy a break,huh?
Knuckles:We can't just stand around here!!
Ayane:Yeah!They will find us If they found us here!!
Satoshi:Let's go

But,Suddenly,someone grab Sonic at the back and it was Amy Rose,much of an irritated Ayane's dismay.

Amy:Guess who?
Sonic:Amy? What're you doing here!?
Amy:Fated lovers are always drawn together,Silly.
Ayane:Amy,cut it out!!What are you doing here?
Amy:Okay,You got me I was running from those girls.I was so scared!!

Suddenly, As she hugs Sonic,she drop an object as the same Crystal ring shape stone as Satoshi and Sonic had.

Tails:What's that?
Amy:The cause of all my troubles.I picked it up,and those group of girls came after me!
Ayane:Must be Bison behind all this,but why?
Tsubaki:It must be after you guys and us
Scarlett:Which is why those things you hold are those they after;the gem called 'The Ark Of Cosmos',senorita.
Sonic:I guess that settles it,then.
Tazuki:The key to solving this mystery is Shadaloo Headquarters.
Knuckles:Hey,Sonic! we've got company!!

The Dolls had appeared out of nowhere and Tsubaki leads the way.

Scarlett:We better run, Mohito!!Shinobu is waiting for us!!
Tsubaki:All right!Lets...GO!!

As they arrive at the Shadaloo Headquarters,there are full of Shadaloo troops and they are guarding the entrance and they had to avoid being seen by them. Sonic tells them to watch their guard.Suddenly,the alarm has triggered and they had to fight the troopers but they attack at someone from behind but it was defeated easily by one of them who had the same gem as Sonic has.They were greeted by the Babylon Rogues.

Jet:It's been a while,Sonic the Hedgehog.
Sonic:Jet?
Wave:Long time no see,shorty!
Tails:Wave!!
Storm:We're here to score a settle for the last time!!Huh!!
Knuckles:Anytime,Babylon Rogues
Jet:Cut it out,storm!!(Look at Amy and demand to give it back the gem)Alright,girly.Hand over of the Ark of the Cosmos!!
Amy:(Confused)What are you talking about?
Jet:(angry)Don't play dumb!!Not after swiping the Ark of the Cosmos right out of our hands.

As Satoshi and his friends arrives,they saw Sonic and his friends were looking for a fight with the Babylon Rogues.Ayane,visibly angry,arrive to defending Amy.

Ayane:What are you guys anyway? Stop bullying her!!Go away!!
Amy:Ayane-oneechan!!(アヤネ尾根チャン！！)
Satoshi:What are you guys anyway?
??????:They are the Babylon Rogues,famous thief in the universe
Satoshi:(suspicious)That voice.....
??????:Don't be mad!!
??????:We brought them here!!

The Thunder Bird clan appeared right in front of them.They also the rival of Satoshi and his friends.Keiko was surprises to see them.

Keiko:...?!
Shawn:Ed'c paah y frema,Satoshi Amaterasu,jyhxiecran uv Chaos(It's been a while,Satoshi Amaterasu,vanquisher of Chaos)
Satoshi:*reply in Al Bhed*Heh!Famm,Famm! Shawn,fa saad ykyeh!!(Well,well! Shawn,we meet again!!)
Arashi:Rammu ykyeh,ouin rekrhacc(Hello again,your highness)
Ayane:Arashi?
Saizou:Fa'na rana du caddma y clufa vun dra mycd desa!! (We're here to settle a score for the last time!!)

Right before they met,they heard Ayane yells in rage.She tries to shove Jet away from Amy.

Ayane:Back off,will ya? She doesn't know what are you saying,so go away!!
Jet:But..but..
Arashi:You know...the princess wasn't a person who "typical" patience attitude..
Shawn: She as scary as her dad..hehehe
Sonic:*coming to Amy's aid after Jet accuses her of stealing an Ark of the Cosmos*Hey! Hold up a minute. Girls hate guys who rush them, Jet."
Jet:Rush? I'm the fastest thing in the universe! And today, I'm gonna prove it.

Shawn and Satoshi:*laugh*Just like old times,huh?

An alarm then sounds alerting the Dolls. Tazuki informs to fled the scene,since the Shadaloo set the alarm.

Tazuki:We can't stay here.
Satoshi:Looks like we get our legs to go!!Hurry up,slowpokes!!
Shawn:H-Hey,wait!!
Ayane:*stops and look for Amy*Amy? Where is she?

Sonic and friends take off leaving the Rogues in pursuit,follow the heroes and the Thunder Bird.

Sonic:Looks like we'll have to do the reunion later.See ya,Jet!!
Jet:H-Hey,wait!!

As Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Jet, and Wave ride off following Satoshi and his friends along with the Thunder Bird Rogues, Storm attempts to get the Ark of the Cosmos from Amy, only to get whacked by Amy's hammer. She then escapes with Storm in pursuit.Ayane sensed that and followed that albatross and a pink hedgehog on the loose,grunted.
While on their way to the headquarters,Keiko wanted to ask the Thunder Bird Rogues.

Keiko: Umm..Hey!Byntuh Sa!!(Pardon Me!!)
Shawn: What's the matter?
Arashi: What do want to ask?
Keiko: Um..Have you guys heard the name of "Shizuru Tsubasa"?
Satoshi: Who's Shizuru? Keiko...
Keiko: You know..Shizuru is my aunt...she's a younger sister of my mom but become distant after mom was married..but my dad told me to seek her out if anything happens"

They began to think of what relation of Keiko to Shizuru and realized that Keiko is their cousins as well.
Shawn:That means...you're our cousin too? That means you're an Al Bhed....
Keiko: On my mother's side,yes! but she doesn't want me to get near the other Al Bhed.
Tazuki:She thinks only her decision to leave the colony and abandoned her life as an Al Bhed and refuses to tell her children.Hmph! How selfish she can be? She always putting her nose to where it doesn't belong!!bydradel!!(Pathetic)
Taichi:Psst!Oui pa xiead!!(You be quiet!!)She'll hear that!!

While they talking,they were pursued by the dolls but Satoshi uses his Psychokinetic sphere like energy with a Red Gem of the Ark of Harmony charged up to shoot at the girls out off the way.Sonic and Jet were amused by that and they decide to help thim clear the way without any harm of the girls.

Jet:You can use that power too?
Sonic: Pretty handy,really!

Sonic unleashed the power telekinetically pushed the troops.While in the office,the professor was trying to uncover the Shadaloo data but to no avail.He is Dr.Edward,cousin of Keiko and Tazuki,who also an Al Bhed.He tries to uncover the Data from the Shadaloo but it always repeating the same thing;

Edward must have known that the gem that Satoshi and Sonic wore it the same thing,Ruby red and Sapphire Blue.

Edward reveal everything that M.Bison survived from the bombing after Charlie sacrifice himself to save his friend,Guile.But,M.Bison sudden ressurect has brought the terror to the land.Just then,Rugal came by and try to make M.Bison a statue but was defeated,but because Rugal unleashed his Orochi power,M.Bison seemingly interested with the power.Suddenly,the stone from the sky came down and they are 12 stones:Ruby,Sapphire,Emerald,Diamond,Pearl,Crytal,Golden,Silver,Turquoise,Moonstone, Berlitz, and Topaz.M.Bison even knows the 1800 year history and the Three divine vessel and he participate the tournament to search them and collect the gems of Cosmos around the globe.

Satoshi:But why did he want from the gems and the 1800 years old histories of the Kusanagi,Yasakani and Yata?
Edward: That even I don't know!!
Shawn: They've drawn to one another...
Edward: What?
Tazuki: These aren't just some Gemstone...It's something related to our lifeline..
Edward: They've spoken of the salvaging Al Bhed thing is....
Jet: Ohh!!That's right!! Girl,Give me back the Gemstone of Harmony.
Tails:Amy's gone
Wave:Storm's not here either...
Tsubaki: Ayane's not with us...
Scarlett: It's seems that Princessa is trying to save Amy and then...
